My name is Trace Clayton, and I was born in Texarkana, Texas. At 18 years old, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where I had the privilege of becoming a Combat Marksmanship Coach (CMC).
During my enlistment, I trained Marines in both handgun and rifle marksmanship, instructing nearly 30 shooters each week. I have qualified thousands of US Marines through their annual qualification.
Through that experience, I developed a deep respect for disciplined, safety-focused firearms training and discovered a genuine passion for teaching others.
That passion for instruction, responsibility, and skill development is what continues to drive my work today.

I have a strong passion for firearms education and for ensuring individuals have the knowledge and skills to responsibly protect themselves, their families, and their property. Through years of training and experience, I emphasize safe, lawful, and disciplined firearm use.
By leveraging the experience I’ve gained over time, my goal is to refine your skills and provide a solid foundation built on proper fundamentals, sound technique, and confidence behind the firearm.
